Need to squirrel proof my roof and attic.

I had the same problem in my apartment. The squirrels would run around at random times throughout the day and night, making scratching noises and fighting right above my head. At first I tried the Transonic PRO an electronic pest repeller made by Bird-X in Chicago. This product is made to repel small rodent pests like bats, mice and insects. The Transonic using sonic and ultrasonic (safe to humans and pets) sounds to repel pests. I set it up in my attic near the front door and it kept the squirrels away from that half of the house.
Since they were still pestering me in the back part of the house, I also bought an outdoor deer repellent called the YardGard. It’s a motion activated, battary powered ultrasonic repeller. As soon as I set it up in the back part of my house, the squirrels moved out! I have 2 cats and neither seemed to notice the ultrasonic noise, but the squirrels sure did!
I think that a combination of these products will get rid of the squirrels in your attic. Please comment and let me know the results.
